Gather Ye Rosebuds: Group Show
The Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery anticipates the coming of Spring with a group exhibition of international artists.
Robert Bradford’s flower dogs are joined by oil on Belgian linen work from Australian artist Anne Middleton, in turn complemented by Hepzibah Swinford’s folk-inspired bouquet paintings. Jackie Case presents a selection of graphite drawings alongside Phil Shaw’s bookshelf prints, paintings by Scottish artist Alasdair Wallace and photography from Sydney-based artist Toby Burrows. Also on display is a new light-box by Andrew Ryder and Paper People prints from collagist Jerry Jeanmard. Also debuting their collages, Mersuka Dopazo and Teresa Calderón present large-scale naïve style works, created from specialist pigments and papers gathered from all over the world.
