Footprints, the first exhibition outside Australia by sisters Julie and Sabrina Nangala Robertson, celebrated artists from the Warlpiri community of Yuendumu in the Central Australian Desert.
Daughters of the renowned painter Dorothy Napangardi, Julie and Sabrina carry forward a rich cultural and artistic legacy. Their intricate, luminous works draw on Warlpiri traditions while forging a strikingly original visual language that speaks to ancestral stories, country, and kinship.
