These assorted fragments discovered in various sites across the globe (i.e. Europe, primarily Greek and Roman territories) ) stand as the starting point of the Museum of Found Objects. Without these unmarked pieces of rocks without any certification of importance other than their origin, the museum could not function in creating standards to collecting, much like other important art institutions.
