Taxidermized Spiny-Back Chimpanzee
Unknown craftsman
Originally thought to be a myth in the dense forest of Indonesia, this taxidermized spiny-back chimpanzee has been stuffed to mimic its bipedal movements. The taxidermists who did the job, however, did not specialize in faces, hence the contorted, almost door-like face on this botched taxidermy. Another theory is that the taxidermist originally thought the specimen was a cactus; however, further research needs to be done.
