Sam Riley British

Sam Riley studied at Camden Arts Centre and St Martin’s School of Art, before embarking on a career as an art director on feature films and tv commercials.

 

Over the past few years, he has produced several series of sculptures based around balancing forms and more recently created works in steel that acknowledge the passing of specific periods of time. His works often feature abstract depictions of The Earth, Moon and Sun, created by the elements and climatic conditions over specific periods of time, from lunar cycles, months and seasons, to the entire year.
