The Classics: Group Show, NYC

2 September - 1 October 2016
Overview

To coincide with the London gallery's exhibition of Rob Tucker's paintings, which are on view at Conway Street from the 7 September to 1 October 2016, the Mott Street gallery will display a collection of his works. Based in New Zealand, Tucker uses oil and resin on board with graphite, red wine and coffee and aerated paint, exploring the relationship between colour and form.

Joining Tucker's works will be London printmaker Rose Blake, represented by her hand-finished museum-scapes in collage, gouache and sign-writer's polymer. These will be complemented by the layered, painterly works of Scottish artist Alasdair Wallace, as well as Hepzibah Swinford's floral oil paintings.

Also on show will be hand-finished prints of New York from draughtsman Laura Jordan, as well as London printmaker Phil Shaw's bookshelf works and Canadian artist Emily Filler's colour studies.
